Pennsylvania Airports are the Latest to Receive Grants for Repairs

Nearly fourteen million dollars in state and federal grants will be divided among 32 Pennsylvania airports for necessary repairs, upgrades and safety enhancement.  The different plans for the funds vary from equipment upgrades to runway repairs and just about everything in between.

Aviation is a huge industry in the state of Pennsylvania, but many of the airports (especially some of the smaller airports) are suffering due to the fact that they can’t adequately service their customers in their current condition.
The record breaking Winter brought to light many of the shortcomings in equipment in airports throughout the northeast, but the appropriate snow removal gear is only a piece of the overall puzzle that will get all of these airports up and running as they should be.

No business can function properly in a state of disrepair, least of all an airport – if the runway, hangars and equipment of an airport are old and unreliable every customer and employee who pass through are in danger of minor delays at best and potentially serious injuries or even death at worst.

In order for an airport to be fully operational and successful, all of their aircraft towing equipment needs to be reliable and fully functional.  Even a single delay caused by equipment failure could inconvenience hundreds of people and hurt the reputation of a small airport.  Lindbergh Aircraft Tug Co. has been the leader in the field of aircraft tow tugs and aircraft towing for decades and now they are becoming the prominent force in the area of helicopter tugs as well.

If a small airport in the northeast could get a grant that would allow them to upgrade to aircraft towing equipment from Lindbergh Aircraft Tug Co. along with the proper snow removal equipment they would have far less to worry about when it came to servicing the customers in the most timely and safest manner possible.
