WagonCaddy

Applications

The WagonCaddy® motorized platform truck is a battery powered platform cart used for moving materials, carts, or machinery from one location to another without having to manually carry the load or push a wheeled cart. These heavy push carts or pull cart applications can occur anywhere, form moving linen carts throughout a hospital, to moving supply carts in a hotel, to distributing the company coffee machine around the plant. If these carts need constant pushing or pulling from one location to another and cause fatigue to the employee moving the load, then it is a perfect application for one of our electric carts.

Benefits

The primary benefit of using the WagonCaddy® battery powered cart is to prevent the strains and pains associated with pushing and pulling heavy carts and equipment. These stains and pains result from overextending the body when manually moving carts from one location to another, such as a parts cart from workstation to workstation, or mail cart throughout the building. When WagonCaddy® motorized cart is used for these routine tasks, pains and strains are minimized, which reduces workman's compensation and insurance claims. According to OSHA's recently released ergonomics standard proposal, work-related muskoloskeletal disorders (WMSD's), such as tendonitis low pack pain, account for $20 billion in workers compensation costs each year and 34% of all lost workday injuries.

Applications for the WagonCaddy® motorized platform truck generally exist in environments where women and elderly employees make up most of the workforce. The WagonCaddy® electric cart enables these employees to easily handle the tasks of moving boxes and supplies that were left for an employee with more physical strength. This allows you workforce to be more productive and human resources to be less selective when hiring personnel for a position that may require some physical labor.

Features

The WagonCaddy® comes standard with a 36-volt system, 3 12-volt batteries, designed to give the operator 8-hours of continuous use, without moving a load, before recharging. Plenty of battery life to last an entire shift.

The unit has a variable speed twist grip for forward and reverse directions from 0-3 mph. The ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain smooth control while intricately maneuvering his load. The WagonCaddy®'s ability to go 3 mph allows the machine to keep up with the operator without frustration from waiting for a slowly operating machine when operating the unit form pont A to B through-out your facility.

The safety stop switch positioned at the back of the handle bar bow immediately stops the machine when depressed to prevent any possible injury from operating the device. This feature is a must when buying any piece of equipment.

The WagonCaddy® is designed for easy maneuvering and pivoting of your loads. The unit can pivot a full 360 degrees.
