CartCaddyWagonWheel Cart Tuggers

Applications for Cart Tuggers

The CartCaddyWagonWheel cart tuggers are primarily designed to push carts, pull carts, or maneuver carts or equipment that require turning. The CartCaddyWagonWheel dolly tuggers and the CartCaddy5WP rack tuggers solve the same types of applications. The CartCaddyWagonWheel cart puller varies from the CartCaddy5WP cart pusher in that it has added weight over the drive tires to provide increased traction for heavier loads. The CartCaddyWagonWheel is primarily designed to push, pull, and maneuver carts or equipment that require turning. The most common application is the cart with two front swivel casters and two straight casters. The CartCaddyWagonWheel dolly pusher attaches to the swivel castered end and provides the pushing and pulling power necessary for easy turning and intricate maneuvering. Customers' terminology for their specific carts may vary, but regardless of the parts or equipment on the cart being pulled or pushed, our motorized cart tugger has the power and capability to handle the application.

Employees operating without CartCaddyWagonWheel cart tuggers are often required manually to push and pull carts. This heavy cart pushing task may require anywhere from 1-6 employees. The tugger eliminates the possibility of strains from manually pushing these loads, while reducing the number of employees needed to accomplish the task, drastically increasing productivity. While some companies have been successful in utilizing equipment such as fork trucks, walkies, electric pallet jacks, or riding tugs to manage their cart pushing applications, these solutions are often expensive, result in awkward maneuvering, especially in tight spaces, and cannot be considered as ergonomically effective as cart tuggers.

Whatever the cart pushing or cart pulling application, our electric powered tuggers have the power to push or pull almost any wheeled application. DJ Products, Inc. also offers customized solutions to virtually any material handling cart pushing or pulling application. Please contact us to see how our products can solve your applications.

Benefits for Cart Tuggers

The CartCaddyWagonWheel electric tugger is ergonomically designed to prevent the strains and pains associated with manually pushing and pulling heavy carts and equipment. The use of the CartCaddyWagonWheel powered tuggers minimizes the risk of injury, which in turn reduces the overall number of workers' compensation and insurance claims. The CartCaddyWagonWheel motorized tuggers are also beneficial because of the boost they give to overall productivity. With a cart tugger, heavy carts which previously required multiple operators to maneuver can be negotiated by a single employee. As a result, the operators eliminated from these tasks can be available for alternate responsibilities.

Businesses also receive the indirect benefit of improving the overall employee morale by reducing the physical labor demands for their employees. Improved employee morale decreases employee turnover and improves overall job performance.

The CartCaddyWagonWheel battery powered tuggers have a variable speed twist grip for forward and reverse directions up to 3 mph. The ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain smooth control while intricately maneuvering a load. The electric tuggers' ability to move up to 3 mph prevents the often frustrating scenario of working with slow-moving equipment.

The safety stop switch located at the back of the handle bar box immediately stops the machine when depressed to prevent possible injuries from operating the device. This feature is a must when buying any piece of machinery.

The electric lift option and customized tugger attachment eliminate the need for fabricating multiple attachment for each cart or piece of equipment. The CartCaddyWagonWheel tugger's arm lowers and rises allowing it to attach firmly to the bottom of any cart. Weight is transferred from the cart to the front drive wheels of the CartCaddyWagonWheel equipment tuggers for better traction when moving each load.

The CartCaddyWagonWheel cart puller is designed to easily maneuver and pivot your loads. After the tugger's arm is attached firmly to your cart or equipment, the unit can pivot a full 180 degrees under the arm. This allows your operator to turn the CartCaddyWagonWheel cart tugger without jackknifing your cart.
