Applications of Electric Carts

Our PartsCaddyLite electric carts are battery powered platform trucks used for moving materials, parts, or machinery from one location to another.  When using the powered carts, workers don't have to manually carry the load or push wheeled carts. Heavy pushing and pulling cart applications that can be solved by the electric carts can occur in a variety of facilities. As long as carts need constant pushing or pulling from one location to another and are causing fatigue to the employees moving the load, then the application is perfect for our battery powered carts.

Benefits of Electric Carts

The most obvious benefit of using the PartsCaddyLite electric carts is that the strains and pains commonly linked with pushing and pulling heavy carts and equipment is prevented. These strains and pains are a result of workers overextending their bodies while moving carts manually from one location to another. Injuries are minimized when our PartsCaddyLite electric platform carts are regularly utilized for these everyday tasks, reducing workers' compensation and insurance claims.

Women and elderly employees often make up a majority of the workforce in facilities where applications for the PartsCaddyLite carts exist. Using the electric carts lets these employees handle heavy pushing and pulling tasks easily.  This increases your workforce's productivity and allows the facility's human resources to be less selective when hiring for a position that may include some lifting, pulling, or pushing.

Electric Carts

Electric Carts Features
Our electric carts come standard with a 36-volt system, three 12-volt batteries, designed to give the operator eight hours of continuous use, without moving a load, before recharging. The carts contain plenty of battery life to last an entire shift.

#2Our carts have a variable speed twist grip for forward and reverse directions from 0-3 mph. The ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain smooth control while intricately maneuvering his load. The electric carts' ability to go 3 mph allows the machines to keep up with the operators without causing frustration from waiting for a slowly operating cart.

When depressed, the safety stop switch positioned at the back of the handle bar box on the carts immediately stops the machine, preventing any injury from operating the device or being pinned against a wall by the carts.

The PartsCaddyLite electric carts are created to easily maneuver your loads, as the unit can pivot a full 360 degrees.
