In many manufacturing or distribution environments, the material handling process is either solved by palletizing product, parts, or equipment whiile forked equipment is used to distribute the product throughout the facility; or a good number of manufacturing companies keep their materials or products on a rack or cart. There are many reasons a manufacturer chooses to keep their material handling process on wheeled loads, but two of the more common reasons are:

A) Its easier to access a part that is hanging or indexed on a rolling rack while it is sitting next to the assembly line. If the operator has to manipulate or reposition the rack for better access, or remove an empty and replenish it with a full, a rolling load is the most efficient way to handle this task.

B) Many finished products or input materials are not conductive for palletizing. They are either odd shaped, or too fragile to allow stacking. Examples of manufactures with many carts of rolling loads are the Window, Door, and Lumber manufacturers, or the automotive assembler or manufacturer.

These wheeled loads are delivered and transported through the facility in a few different ways. Most manufacturers use a rider tug or lift truck, or they manually push them by hand. Many of the environments are usually congested, making it hard to maneuver the cart or wheeled equipment with a bulky, clumbersum ride on piece of equipment, or the employer is worried about an injury. These are the situations where people use our Car Mover.

Our Cart Mover comes in many different shapes and sizes to handle these wheeled applications. The amount of force necessary to maneuver the load, as well as how we attach to it, will determine the CartCaddy solution necessary to solve it. The most common application is the cart or wheeled load with two front swivel casters and two rear straight wheels. These wheeled loads need turning or manipulating in tight areas, and usually need a Cart Pusher both for pulling and pushing the cart. All the following 5 Cart Mover attach to the swivel castered end and provide the pushing and pulling power necessary for easy turning and intricate maneuvering. The common feature they have is the 5th wheel turning capability.

These next Cart Mover help solve applications where no turning is required, or an operator will turn the wheels while a Cart Mover pushes from behind as in the case of pushing a bus, car, or tractor along an assembly line. Other applications could be pushing a cart on a rail into a kiln. the electric lift hitch on the front attaches firmly to the cart so the Cart Mover stops the wheeled load form continuing the toll. It also helps in attaching to the cart when pulling along the rail. Rollers on the front help push rolls in paper manufacturing facilities.

The CartCaddyWagonWheel Cart is primarily designed to push, pull, or maneuver carts or equipment that have wagon wheel or hay wagon style turning. These carts have a front axle that turns when the front arm is turned. They also work well with the 4-wheel Quad steer carts which are quite common today.

If you are looking to motorize a single electric cart process and you don't have multiple different carts a tugger has to interchange with, then one of our self propelled cart or scissors lift solution is the best fit for you. Our motorized cart is a battery powered cart used for moving materials, carts, or machinery from one location to another without having to manually carry the load or push a wheeled cart. These heavy push carts or pull cart applications can occur anywhere, form moving linen carts throughout a hospital, to moving supply carts in a hotel, to distributing the company coffee machine around the plant. If these carts need constant pushing or pulling from one location to another and cause fatigue to the employee moving the load, then it is a perfect application for one of our electric carts.

Our motorized trailer mover is a electric cart designed for pushing or pulling trailers that require lifting on one end before maneuvering. Most common applications for this motorized cart are the moving of campers, equipment trailers, and boats. These wheeled trailers usually are pulled with a vehicle down a highway. However, when these trailers are being manufactured or need to be pushed or pulled a short distance.

Our shopping cart pusher products attach to the back of the line of shopping carts and can push up to 50 shopping carts. The operator attaches the shopping cart pusher to the back of the line of shopping carts, he then stands at the front of the train of carts with one hand steering the line of carts and while the other hand uses the remote control device to operate the shopping cart pusher. The electric cart pushes the line of shopping carts from behind following the direction that the operator steers as he guides them from front. Once he gets to the front of the retail store, he heads back out to the parking lot with the shopping cart mover to collect more carts.
