Applications for Power Movers

The CarCaddy power mover is a battery powered pusher capable of pushing stalled vehicles that don't need to be steered by the CarCaddy, such as buses, trucks, campers, cars, and campers. Many manufacturers use our electric movers to push the units short distances down a production line from station to station. CarCaddy products also have enough power to push stalled vehicles at service centers and along highways.

Benefits for Power Movers

The primary benefit of using the CarCaddy movers is to prevent the strains and pains associated with pushing stalled cars, buses, and heavy trucks. These strains and pains can result from overextending the body, such as when manually pushing cars from the parking lot into a service center garage or pushing a stalled vehicle from the centerline of the highway to the shoulder. When CarCaddy power movers are used for these routine tasks, strain is minimized, which reduces workers' compensation and insurance claims.

Our CarCaddy power mover also helps to prevent damages associated with using an electric mover to push or pull stalled vehicles. In cases where manpower is not available, other vehicles are used to bump up against the back end of the stalled vehicle. This practice causes dents, scratches, and cracks to both vehicles. The CarCaddy power mover's front push pad is made from durable padded material designed to preserve the integrity of the back end of the stalled vehicle.

Power Movers Features

1 The power movers come standard with a 36-volt system, three 12-volt batteries, designed to give the operator 8 hours of continuous use, without moving a load, before recharging. The movers have plenty of battery life to last an entire shift.

2The movers have a variable speed twist grip for forward and reverse directions from 0 to 3 mph. The ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents workers from getting carpal tunnel syndrome and allows the operator to maneuver the load delicately, while still maintaining smooth control. The power mover's ability to go 3 mph allows the machine to keep up with the operator, removing the common frustration of having to wait for a slow machine when operating a unit around your facility.

3The safety stop switch on the back of the handle bar box immediately stops the machine when depressed to prevent any possible injury from operating the device, a crucial feature to consider when buying any power mover.

4
The electric lift option and customized attachment prevent you from having to fabricate multiple attachments for each cart or piece of equipment. The power mover's arm lowers and rises for attaching firmly to the bottom of your cart. For better traction when moving the load, weight is transferred from the cart to the front drive wheels of the CarCaddy.

5The power mover's design is for easy maneuvering and pivoting of your loads. After the arm is attached firmly to your carts or equipment, the unit can pivot a full 180 degrees under the arm. This feature allows an operator to turn your loads a full 90 degrees without manually turning the front of the cart or jackknifing.
