Applications for Powered Carts

Moving carts, materials, and machinery can be done simply and smoothly using the PartsCaddy battery powered cart. The powered cart can solve a variety of your material handling applications in a variety of work places, including hotels, marinas, warehouses, and hospitals.

If your carts need constant pushing or pulling from one location to another and often cause fatigue to employees that move the heavy loads, then the PartsCaddy cart can be a perfect application for your business.

Benefits for Powered Carts

Using PartsCaddy battery powered carts is extremely beneficial because it prevents strains and pains often associated with pushing and pulling heavy equipment. These injuries result from overexerting the body when manually moving carts from one location to another, such as pushing parts carts from workstation to workstation, or pulling mail carts throughout an office. When the powered PartsCaddy is used for these routine tasks, strain is minimized, which reduces workers' compensation and insurance claims. Work-related musculoskeletal disorders, such as lower back pain and tendinitis, account for $20 billion in workers' compensation costs each year and over one-third of all lost workday injuries, according to OSHA.

Women and elderly employees generally make up a large portion of the workforce in places where applications for the PartsCaddy battery powered cart exist. The powered PartsCaddy enables these employees to easily move boxes and supplies without risking their health, allowing your workforce to be more productive and human resources to be more open-minded when hiring employees for positions that require some physical labor.

Features

The PartsCaddy powered carts come standard with a three 12-volt batteries, a 36-volt system,, giving the operator 8 hours of continuous use before recharging, providing plenty of powered battery life to last an entire shift.

This powered cart's variable speed twist grip goes in forward and reverse up to 3 mph. The ergonomically correct powered variable speed feature prevents employees from contracting carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain smooth control of the load. The powered PartsCaddy's speed allows the machine to keep up with the operator. This will eliminate the frustration that is often experienced when having to wait for a slow-moving machine.

The safety stop switch positioned at the back of the handle bar bow immediately stops the machine when depressed. Because it can prevent injuries that occur when operating the device, the safety stop switch is vital when buying any piece of equipment.

The powered PartsCaddy carts are designed for easy maneuvering of your loads. They can pivot a full 360 degrees.
