Tuggers

CartCaddyWagonWheelHD Tuggers

Applications for Tuggers

Our cart tuggers are primarily made to pull and otherwise maneuver carts that have a tongue on the front of the cart or a trailer that turns a front axle similarly to a wagon. The CartCaddyWagonWheelHD cart movers are much like the CartCaddyWagonWheel units, but the CartCaddyWagonWheelHD has added weight over the drive tires, providing increased traction for heavier loads. The handle on these tuggers turns a front wheel much like a pallet jack, making it very easy to maneuver, load, and turn the unit. The electric CartCaddy is usually used on quad steer carts, wagon wheel style trailers, or any piece of equipment that has a long tongue with an eye on the end.

Employees operating without our CartCaddyWagonWheelHD cart tuggers are required to manually push and pull carts. This heavy cart pushing task may require anywhere from 1-6 employees. The cart tuggers eliminate the possibility of strain from manually pushing these loads, while greatly reducing the number of employees to accomplish these tasks. While some companies have been successful in utilizing equipment such as fork trucks, walkies, electric pallet jacks, or riding tugs to manage their cart pushing applications, these solutions are often not ergonomically correct, are expensive, and can result in awkward maneuvering in tight spaces.

Whatever the cart pushing or cart pulling application that faces your facility, our electric powered cart tuggers have the power to push or pull almost any wheeled cart while increasing your workplace's productivity. DJ Products, Inc. offers customized solutions to virtually any material handling cart pushing or pulling application. Please contact us to see how our products can solve your application needs.

Benefits for Tuggers

CartCaddyWagonWheelHD equipment tuggers prevent injuries associated with manually pushing and pulling heavy carts, trailers and equipment. Heavy carts which had previously required multiple operators to maneuver can now be negotiated by a single employee. As a result, the employees eliminated from these tasks become available for alternate responsibilities. When they reduce the amount of physical labor required, companies also receive the indirect benefit of improved employee morale. Improved employee morale decreases employee turnover and improves overall job performance.

The CartCaddyWagonWheelHD battery powered tuggers have a variable speed twist grip for forward and reverse directions up to 3 mph. The ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maneuver a load intricately while maintaining control. The CartCaddyWagonWheelHD electric tuggers' speed feature prevents the frustrating scenario of employees having to work with slowly moving equipment.

The safety stop switch on the back of the handle bar box immediately stops the machine when pressed, which prevents any possible injury from operating the device. The tugger's electric lift option and customized attachment eliminate the need for fabricating multiple attachments for each cart or piece of equipment that needs to be pushed or pulled. The CartCaddyWagonWheelHD's arm lowers and rises allowing it to attach firmly to the bottom of any cart. Weight is transferred from the cart to the front wheels of the CartCaddyWagonWheel equipment tuggers, allowing better traction when moving loads.

The CartCaddyWagonWheel cart tugger's design makes maneuvering your loads simple. The unit can pivot a full 180 degrees under the arm after it is attached firmly to your facility's carts or other equipment . These features allow your operator to turn the CartCaddyWagonWheelHD cart tuggers without jackknifing your cart.

Tuggers

Our tuggers come with enough battery life to last a whole shift. They come standard with a 36-volt system, three 12-volt batteries, giving the operator eight hours of continuous use before recharging.

Our tuggers have a variable speed twist grip for forward and reverse directions from 0-3 mph. The ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain smooth control while intricately maneuvering his load with the tuggers.

At the back of the handle bar bow, there is a safety stop switch, which immediately stops the machine when depressed, preventing any possible injuries from operating the device.

The electric tuggers' lift option and customized tugger attachments prevent you from having to create multiple attachments on each of your pieces of equipment. The CartCaddyWagonWheelHD tugger's arm lowers and raises for attaching firmly to the bottom of your cart. Weight is transferred from your cart to the front drive wheels of the CartCaddyWagonWheelHD for better traction when moving your load.

Our CartCaddyWagonWheelHD tuggers are designed for easy maneuvering and pivoting of your loads. After the arm is attached to your carts or equipment, the unit can pivot a full 180 degrees under the arm. This allows your loads to be turned a full 90 degrees without jackknifing your cart.
